| 50 Volunteers Wanted!
We still need over 50 volunteers in overall planning of activities, maintaining order on the day, preparing props, and taking photos and video.
There’s less than a month till Pride in November, but we still urgently require approximately 50 volunteers to assist with the march.
| First aiders: |
10 people, must possess a valid first aid licence, please indicate whether or not you have any experience.

| Volunteers to decorate venue: |
5 people, responsible for decorating the venue and transportation of decorations. |
| Voluntary souvenir sellers: |
10 people, outgoing, chatty and bubbly, to assist with the selling of the event’s souvenirs. |
| Rainbow flag bearers: |
12 people, required to march holding the “bus-sized” rainbow flag. |
| Photographers: |
4 people, required to possess photographic knowledge, must possess related experience. Photographs must be taken digitally, volunteers are required to utilise their own cameras and to record potent images, in order to provide Hong Kong Pride march with highly memorable and evocative photographs. Photographers will be allocated tasks at various locations by the organisers, i.e: photographs of the event as a whole, or more detailed snapshots of individual participants. Copyright for the images belongs equally to the organisers and the volunteer photographers however neither party can leave watermarks on their photographs. The organisers will collect all photographs on CD on the day of the event. Upon signing up, please state the camera to be used and the lens model. |
| Picketers: |
10 people, to maintain order within the Pride contingent. |
All may sign up, regardless of gender, sexual discourse or experience. You may not have the chance to complete the entire procession, but you will definitely be able to participate in front-line work. |
